THE SCENE

Capones Restaurant and Live Jazz Club is a Mediterranean Grill with outstanding food, service and live jazz. Capones has an amazing wine list, over 35, award-winning signature martinis, mouth-watering tapas, pastas, pizzas and signature entrées. Capones also has a wide variety of imported liquors and beers to satisfy the most discriminating palate. Capones Restaurant and Live Jazz Club was the first restaurant in the now trendy Yaletown district, and will be celebrating its 13th anniversary in 2006.

  • Classic Bruschetta — Fresh tomatoes, basil and scallions in a balsamic vinegar and olive oil marinade, topping a toasted crustini, drizzled with a sweet balsamic reduction
  • Cherrywood Smoked Chicken Cannelloni — Fresh chicken breast smoked in-house with authentic cherry wood chips, infusing it with a subtle flavor full of depth. Combined with locally made Ricotta cheese and baked in a basil rosé sauce
  • Rack of Lamb — Oven roasted Rack of Lamb topped with a warmed, goat cheese and a trio of olive and basil tapenade
  • Fresh BC Snapper — Fresh herb crusted local Snapper, pan seared and topped with a tiger prawn, caper and lime white wine butter sauce

Capones has been referred to as 'Yaletown’s Best Kept Secret'. Capones also offers an added value of live jazz 7 nights a week. Our jazz musicians are local, hand-picked Vancouver artists — this is a rare opportunity to hear West-Coast jazz and blues at it's finest. Music starts at 7:30 pm nightly. Capones Restaurant and Live Jazz Club has one of Vancouver’s largest exclusive private dining rooms — 'The Vault' (pictured above). This spacious room is equipped with its own fully stocked bar, extensive wine cellar, a full audio system, and an 8 X 8 foot projection screen.

Michael and the rest of the friendly Scoozies team make your dining experience a memorable one. Seven days a week, Scoozis is open at 7:00 am for breakfasts ranging from eggs Benedict to hot oatmeal and fresh-baked muffins. Delicious pizzas, pasta, soups, salads, pita pockets, and daily specials are served all afternoon. Dinner, ranging from steaks to pasta and fresh seafood, is served until 10:00 pm, and the bar is open much later. The sidewalk patio is a favourite stop for an afternoon cocktail for Vancouverites and tourists alike.
